Hoe Hoe Engineering Pte Ltd (HHE) has been present in the Singapore construction industry since 1971. This year marks the 52nd year of business for Hoe Hoe Engineering in the construction industry. Over the past five decades, HHE has evolved from a small metal works contractor to become a leading structural steel specialist in Singapore. HHE is capable of innovative designs using cost-effective and strategic management approach without compromising the quality of our steelworks.
We are specialized in Structural Steel and Architecturally Exposed Steel Structures (AESS) fabrications. Our fabrication yard is well equipped to handle up to 500 tons of steelworks per month, depending on the specification of the projects.
With a wealth of knowledge in structural steel fabrication, HHE is set to deliver projects on time and within budget, working collaboratively throughout the projects. We provide our structural steel fabrication from 3D modeling and detailing, fabrication and installation with close attention to quality, safety and sustainability.
History
Hoe Hoe Engineering was first known as Hoe Hoe Iron Works when it was established in the early 1970s as a small iron works contractor for residential buildings. The company gradually managed to undertake wider range of specialized steel works as it progressed over the years.
In 1983, a decision was made to set up an engineering firm which is known today as Hoe Hoe Engineering Pte Ltd. Since then HHE has been involved in a wide range of projects such as shopping malls, schools, hospitals, subway stations, industrial and commercial buildings as well as some ‘alterations and addition’ to existing structures.

Our Certifications
Hoe Hoe Engineering is registered with the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) of Singapore as a General Builder and a Specialist Builder in Structural Steelworks (SS). HHE is also an accredited Structural Steel Fabricator by the Singapore Structural Steel Society (SSSS). We have attained the bizSAFE Level STAR issued by the Workplace Safety and Health Council (WSHC) and the Progressive Wage Mark issued by the Singapore Business Federation (SBF). Hoe Hoe Engineering is holding the ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certifications.
